Good-bye my friend………

Finally the day has come, I’ve lost a friend from my 5 years of high school in a small college in Kuala Kangsar, Malaysia……. and I am actually lost for words.

The two photographs below were taken one night 27 years ago at the railway station that has been replaced with a new structure within the past few years.

Overexposed……..

As I rely on the best lightmeter my money can buy……. which is my superb eyes. It does breakdown once in a while……. resulting is shots like this…….

 

This was taken on the south bank of Sungai Muda…….. the Penang side, which also has a Pasar Bisik, and easier to reach by Public Transport (Not sure if I have given this info but as my usual self, too lazy to check my previous posting).

Roadside headbangers…….. One

Along the KL marathon route especially the last few kilometres or miles, there are a few musicians trying to encourage the runners…….. this was one

I guess, the shutter speed I used was too slow………

here is another one, a bit further out……. after looking at it, I think I may have “not” used the 21mm external viewfinder, and used the camera 35mm frameline………

A Man and his Dog

During this year’s KL Marathon event…….

A group of people, looking at it, may have been camping near Dataran Merdeka for quite sometime to protest the rare earth plant in Kuantan…… among the peaceful protester was this man and his dog………

The one that got away…………

The past few years, I try not to miss this event…… the KL Marathon. Not to run, but to capture what ever I feel that is/are interesting………. this is among what I captured, and would like to share………

 

At around 200m before the finishing line of the run, the shorter version will intersect with the marathon…….. and being a “support race” or what ever they call it, they have to stop for the full marathon runners…….. and I guess this guy had enough of waiting and had to try his luck……..

Two Guitarist

One of my favourite place to shoot back in my hometown is Jalan Tan Hiok Nee. There is always something on Saturday night, with the Pasar Karat or Thief’s Market around the corner.
