This was one of the first few shorts of my mini project, 64 squares……. which is still on going. Shot back in 2010, I keep coming back to this place for one or two shots each time, and also make friends with some of them.
I actually forgot about this shot until somebody decided to pick this photo as one of his favourite in flicker……
Still an on-going project………
The usual suspect is always around…….
Sometimes it does get a bit crowded……..
harrow….. what are you doing?
This guy was actually doing an aluminum chain using the tab of drinking cans…. he was actually aiming for 3000m. And he was kind of the unofficial “village head” and was the “sleeping guy” here. Why do I write in past tense….. well, I didn’t see him around the past few times I went pass by the place……. I think it is about time I make another visit, it has been a while.
No chess board no problem…….

I have been going to this place in Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur on and off for the past few months….. morning, noon, afternoon and night. The only time they are not there is during the muslim fasting month as their playing area is ran over by stalls selling what ever under the sky for Idul Fitri.
Shots are taken using either my Ms or R4A with a 21mm or 35mm lens on it. Films used are between Fujifilm Neopan 1600, Ilford HP5+ or Rollei RPX400.
The photos are not in sequence……..
To be continued……..
